Bought mine. Always wanted a 1969 Corvette and then I found a 1970 that was too good to pass up. I came close ;)

Is it okay if I modify it... a little bit.
And by a little bit, I mean a lot. I feel like that car is one GM’s best, if almost unforgotten, blank canvases.

If you have a lead on a clean Mk IV Supra turbo in manual for a little over $30k you should sell your house to do that.

Agreed. Mine is getting gutted, caged, a 12 bolt rear with 4.10 gears and a Torsen differential, T56 6 speed conversion, and an LSx hybrid motor - 4.8L crank in an LS3 block. Should make about 339 cubic inches. It will have ITB’s and a solid roller lifter cam, with the goal of 640HP @ 8,500rpm. Basically it will be a throwback to the old school Trans-Am Z/28s.

Haha I’m okay with an auto for this very reason. Even though a V160 is worth more than my Camaro, I could buy an auto car and swap it for cheaper. I’m even okay with NA-T builds.

That’s awesome! Sounds like a pair of fun cars.
My dad had a ‘69 Z/28 when he was younger, and often speaks fondly of it. Prices are stratospheric for those cars now, I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll never be able to afford one. So I figured the next best thing is to build a “tribute”, except with 20+ years of chassis and powertrain development.

I’ve wanted a Datsun Roadster since I first sat in my Dad’s, I basically had to build my own because they all rot so bad.
At the edge of my “attainable” scale is probably a 1971 Cuda
And I kinda have a soft spot for Land Rovers

That A110 is a 1800 Group4 car... It’s about $400.000 if not more now. Considering the rest of your list, A110 seem a bit over budget :)
Regular 1600S and 1600SC will go for $100k to $150k.
Or maybe a Dinalpin with the small engines? These can be bought for 50k$.
